I am doing P.G. so i want to devlope telnet in java so give some info for coding and which requirements for running successfully on linux 9 operating system.

What is this Linux 9? I know Linux 2.6, but I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as Linux 9

Really? I would never have guessed wink2.gif

I take it you meant Fedora 9 though? Red Hat 9 was released 5 years ago and was superseded by RHEL (which is at version 5 something now). Then again, it's not my distro of choice so I'm no expert.
