quicktime likes to hog the screen... i've never been able to get anything over the top of quicktime...

good luck.

Has this changed in the past 4 years, or are we still hooped?

I too have a CSS menu over quicktime issue, seen here:
http://www.microflight.com/Videos/Kolibri-...Nistowiak-Falls
(mouse over the video menu)

I think I have wmode and zindex options exhausted, any other tricks?

I could be wrong, but I am quite certain QuickTime functions much like Flash in that it ALWAYS sits on TOP of whatever else might be there... with no way to send it back.

I'm pretty sure that there's no solution for this.. at least, not a simple one. Perhaps you should ask Apple (quicktime owners)

You can accually get flash to the back, as seen here:
http://www.microflight.com/index.html
(mouse over the "Customer Service")

But I still need QuickTime to play nice.

Any other suggestions?
