hi guys

i need to run a simple c program using eclipse ide .i have downloaded the eclipse and tried to run a sample program .but iam not able to do it

iam a java developer iam trying to run a JNI sample code for that i need a
simple c program

Did the eclipse you download is for c++?
The eclipse classic is for java, u should download the eclipse for c++

yes chendy the eclipse i have downloaded is for c/c++ developement
i have checked in

Help-------->About Eclipse Platform-------->plug-in details

iam able to find the plug-in for c/c++ development

Do you have a C compiler installed? Because Eclipse doesn't come with that.

MinGW is the officially recommended one.

yes the c compiler is installed

i have checked in the eclipse plugin
