Problem embedding mp3 files in Firefox

New D.I.C Head Joined: 20 Aug, 2008 Posts: 1	CODE <embed type="audio/mpeg" src="http://www.ccel.org/ccel/walker/harmony2/files/big_singing/NewBritain.mp3" width="200" height="15" autostart="false" loop="false"> Hi, I am trying to embed an mp3 file in a webpage, and it works fine in Internet Explorer, but in Firefox the audio cuts off after just a few seconds. I have tried various variations of this code, including using the object tag instead, all to no avail. Firefox is using the Quicktime plugin to play the audio. Could there be a bug in the plugin or am I missing something? Thanks! - Jon

DIC at Heart + Code Joined: 23 Jun, 2008 Posts: 1,026 Thanked 16 times Dream Kudos: 950 My Contributions	I think that is a firefox error. Let me Explain: FireFox probably starts the music sooner than IE does, so that makes it so it doesn't buffer all of the way.
