How can I start my own newsletter using php. I want it so my board members are automatically signed up for newsletter, like its setup here.

Can I have the script to edit?

lol, you want your hands on the ib script like no other...
just go to invisionboard.com

its all a part of the board

but in the newsletter sky just called stuff from the db thats already set up because of the forums and inputs it... like name of person and info like that... and like everything you see on the frontpage is just put in the newsletter with pretty much the same code from the boards addons.

all you need to do is use the php mail() function and use a mysql call to your ikonboard db and pull the email addresses and put them in a while loop that sends the email you want to each of those peoples....



i hope this makes a little sense...
