I'm kinda new here and I just tried to receive a PM but the person who is trying to send it too me is getting this error.

The following errors were found

This message can not be sent because the recipient has their personal messenger disabled or their personal messenger inbox is full.

I tried sending one to myself and I get the same message. I went into the settings and made sure that my personal messenger isn't disabled but still no luck.

Any advice?

yeah, sure. I sent you an email, I'm not sure if you got it?

Otherwise, add me on an IM (preferably MSN) and we can talk there.
(Details are on my profile, just click my screen name)

Back to the subject matter, try clicking here for your PM settings.

Scroll down a little, to Personal Messenger Options and check that "disable your personal messenger?" is set to "no"

If the person you're sending the PM to (or yourself for that matter) dont have 10 posts you cannot send and receive PM's. Hope that helps smile.gif

Well, I have 15 and still can't. At least I tried sending to myself, not sure if someone else tries to send to me.

It looks like you created two user accounts with the same user name.

Does this ring a bell?

At a guess, I would say that is where the problem lies. They both have the same IP address when created.

Which account are you logging in under?

I did and then I forgot my password so I tried to retrieve it and it wouldn't let me for a reason I can't remember. So I sent an email explaining it and they sent an email back saying it was fixed.

Edit: the one that has 17 posts, I don't know the other ones password.

As I suspected having two accounts with exactly the same name was causing the problem. I renamed the first account you created to a different name and then sent you a PM at the current account.

You should have received the PM, as I did not get any errors when it sent.

For future reference, if you forget your password, do not create a second account with the same user name as the first account.
