I wish that I found DIC before a couple of months ago. I also wish they would accept all of my tutorials and snippets no matter how bad or good they are.

I'm afraid if we accepted all snippets regardless of quality, it would detract from the value of the snippets section as a whole. In order to ensure that our user base (and anyone searching for content) continue to have a valued resource for programming, we need to ensure that snippets that do not meet the guidelines, are in error, or otherwise unsuitable are vetted.
