New D.I.C Head Joined: 22 Jan, 2008 Posts: 13 My Contributions	Ok This is not homework or anything else except an answer I am trying to get for a friend. Has anyone ever seen this error before and if so what should he look for to solve the issue? Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'localhost'@'localhost' (using password: YES) in Cxampp\htdocs\CoY\insert.php on line 2 Could not connect: Access denied for user 'localhost'@'localhost' (using password: YES) this is the error recieved when trying to create a new log in. Thanks in advance. Darqueheart

Thanks in advance. Darqueheart Ok, it seems like you have a problem with your php server, in xampp. Did you set this up in xampp configuration located at http://localhost/xampp/?
