i think it would be great for the posting issues i have for what it looks like sometimes

a Rich Text editor would really help but also the rich text editors on most sites do not use special bb_codes like "Code box" "Quote" and stuff but it shows the following during posting The list function but it is displayed like a real list just like what the previews look like the bullet button Same as the List

The Bold Italic or Underline Not quite sure about Strike through because most sites i have been on don't really have that function at all LOL
and then size of text font "what it looks Like" Color and more just certain things do not use it because it would use too much memory or something I do not know LOL.

But it would be great to have a spell check and rich text editor

The spell check that most sites i use actually use a pre installed spell check.
the site gives the download link and then you install it and whatnot and then you just hit the button that says spell check INSIDE during posting.

It works great because they do not need to actually have the spell check installed ON THE site at all just have to have the plugin and then have the people install it biggrin.gif

or just use the built in spell check in FF or Chrome.

I really do not want a rich text editor, it encourages the use of alternate styling which we don't want. The proliferation of different fonts, colors etc... detracts from the aesthetic, readability and usability of a web forum.

We really don't need rich text editors. Like capty already said, it makes things ugly.

Things that stick to a standard == neat, web 2.0 look

Things with different colours, different sizes, different fonts == back to the 90s
