So we go "camping" a lot. Though most wouldn't call it camping because we stay in my family's 5th wheel. But last weekend we did "dry" camp (no electricity or water).

Here's a picture of my 10 month old, 75 pound Great Pyrenees/Border Collie... Sophie:

Did you both fall asleep under the star-filled sky?

All joking aside... I hated camping. My parents used to drag me out of the air conditioned house to the bug infested swamp/camp ground, that was always ran by hill billies but had an Indian name. Made me go canoeing, hiking... bleh. I'm just happy vacationing in NYC.

I don't have a dog, but I do love camping. Last year I took part in a charity survival week. We basically got sponsored to go out into Kielder forest on monday, and come home on friday, and, well, survive in between. Here is a pic of me and the group I was with.

Not bad weather for a british april.

Here's our newest addition to the family zoo. We'll keep him if he doesn't have an owner already (was a stray).
I named him Cooter Brown, since he's from Alabama and is kinda brown. If you're from the South you will know who Cooter Brown is, & if not google it. lol. btw I didn't know about that one meaning of the name until I googled it myself. crazy.gif
