From matlab to java should not be that complicated and there are tools on the web for that

Java to Matlab is a all new game. Dont't know a lot about Matlab (only its Wikipedia page) but I think Java has a lot of features that Matlab does not have.
How would you convert into Matlab the part of a Java program that browse the web or connect to a database through JDBC ?
