i havent heard anything official, but i have been hearing that this is the update we all are eagerly awaiting. i hope so, cause im pumped for that new dashboard.
I recieved an email from xbox live stating that the update to the dashboard would be happening late fall, so that can't be terribly much longer... then again...

I'm happy with my dashboard the way it is. We should not have to change it.
Has far has when we're getting all the changes, its not happening Mon. They're setting everything up for it, but we won't actualy see any of it for a while longer. I'd post a link to the article I read it in but I can't remember which site it was on at the moment. I'll look for it tomorow.

you like the current one better than one you haven't tried yet? interesting.... i wouldn't say that is it is going to be better and im not saying i will like it, but don't mock it til you try it. i guess thats my point

I've seen the screen caps. From a strictly aesthetic standpoint; I prefer the old one.

I don't have a problem with the current dashboard being slow..... I hit a button, it does something. If it has to go onto the Internet, then it slows down, but that's not the Xbox's fault, that's my fault for buying slow Internet.
