Hi All,

I have to develop a web application that has to take date(from calender ) and Server name( populated in a combo box) and display a lot of performance parameters like CPU details, Process details, Processor details, which drills down to PID level, thread (many layers)..etc, I already have the required data uploaded in the MS sql 2005 server which is uploaded everyday.

I request you to suggest me the best( near to best) Framework that suits best to this scenario.

I have basic knowledge in JAVA so also please post any material( resource links) that i can refer to develop this application.

Also suggest me a API that can help me draw graphs attractively and represent the data beautifully.

Waiting for your suggestions,

Thanking you in advance.

Well if you have to make a web app using Java you could look into Java Server Pages. If you already have all of information in a database you could just create a class for an object that is populated by a JDBC call. I really don't know of any specific frameworks that would be better than just using the standard API.

I don't know much about graphics with Java aside from using swing and awt in some introductory CS courses. Whenever I do graphics for a web app, it is mostly just done with plain HTML and JavaScript. I understand your probably after a more elegant solution. Don't forget that simplicity has a certain elegance of it's own, especially in the IT world.
