so im replaying the first zelda on nes after like 13 years (hey, thats what i could be doing now!!!! ), and i like totally forgot everything. help. how do i get the magic sword? can i kill that damn cracken? and how do i find the 3rd dungeon?
I can't see too many people playing NES regulary.....go look on the internet for a walk through
If only I had the time!
I own the gold version of the NES Zelda, I know i've finished it at least once in the past, but I can't think off the top of my head how to beat where you're at.
ummm i found the dungeon and i got the sword. and you can kill the kracken with the sword XD lol i got this blue ring though that totally turned link white!!!! omg and i think its damage/2 now. and i still cant find the old man by the grave
You mean E.V.O. ? That game was like a science video on meth.
... and with the MOST REPETITIVE OVERWORLD MUSIC, EVER!! I can count the notes still and it's been years since I beat it! There's about 16 notes played through and there's a pause with just the base beat, and then it repeats! It's like 8 seconds long!
What's worse is they just reuse it with different instruments. It sounds like they hired a homeless person to compose the music and paid him with a sandwich.

Have you really played the older games? Not many of them had been known for their music. People back then didn't really care about the music so much as the gameplay.

I need to copy my NES emulator over on to the laptop~ I don't go on my desktop PC enough any more (loads slower)
omg, what to play?
"I'm an emo kid, non-conforming as can be, you can be non-conforming too if you look just like me. I have paint on my nails and makeup on my face, I'm almost emo enough to start shaving my legs" ... "cuz emo, is one step, below transvestite" For those of you who don't know what I'm on about Warning: It's 3 minutes and 6 seconds you'll never get back.
(I know it because the kid who I sat next to in college played it constantly for the whole time I was there)
Yes. I know the words.
EDIT: Dammit, I commented it (to reply to someone getting attitude) and called them emo. But now it's in the wrong place and out of context. Bit of a fail on my part, really...

Now look here back in my day, I've played Megaman, Thunder Force IV, Star Tropics, and all sorts of good old fashioned video games with good old fashioned music tracks that are completely awesome. Now of course, gameplay is important, but bad repetitive music detracts from the gameplay unless you turn the sound off. And then it feels kind of empty to eat helpless animals for EVO points while listening to your mp3s.
