I downloaded a GUI, the wxRuby, I wanted to try it and I downloaded the Gem file.
For being sure of what I was doing, I installed the latest rubygems.
But still I didn't understood where I need to put them.

I really ask your help cause I don't know where to start and I don't want to make some mistake.. ph34r.gif Help.. ph34r.gif

It when I try to use the gem tool, I can't recognize ruby.exe as internal or external app...

RubyGems is used to install external libraries to native Ruby installation.
So, if you installed wxRuby for example, you can include the library with:
ruby
require "wx"

The problem is: I don't know how to install them.
Cause I downloaded the gem file, and then where I should go?
I Opened gem package and rubygems packg says ruby didn't found as internal or external program or batch.
when I say gem install wxruby says: gem invalid command.
HELP

I tried from cmd writing gem install wxRuby and it answers: Bulk updating index at gems.rubyforge.org
it's that right or I am doing something wrong?
I don't know where to click...

Update: I read that it said: to install a gem it will seek in the local directory, so it was probably checking internet?
so I putted in the folder where it was seeking and it said: successful install.

An hurray for WxRuby whatsthat.gif now the only doubt I got is why it gone to check internet to that if It was on my computer..at least was safe? smile.gif
