Hi I'm Mono

I am new to programing and the things I want to do is code for games
I use C++ but I can only do simple things so far like getting variables, displaying text, and if statements.....yea that's about it haha

The thing I want to know is what types of things should I be learning to program games.

More C++(obviously), math, physics, graphic library (choose either one of OpenGL, DirectX, SDL, etc).

I think there's more but that's all that I remember for now.

Keep studying up on C++, learning as much as you can. There are few things that you cannot find a good purpose for at some point in time when it comes to game programming.

I suggest following this set of tutorials that covers using the Simple DirectMedia Layer (SDL) media libraries in C++, because it covers a good spectrum of fields.

You can also find more information at SDL's website, http://www.libsdl.org/
