ICONS problem in Visual Studio 2005

How can we display high resolution icons in VS 2005. When we have multimillion colors Icons and try to display on toolbar or button then it shows black color instead of the Icon.
I want a soltion for the mentioned problem also I do not want to degrade the gradient and resolution/quality of the Icons. Please help me out on this.

Microsoft has a solution on their site listed here. This does sound like your issue, the post is from their help forums.

Thanks, it's my little link that I pass along to those that are asking for free code without work done. I do tend to hide it pretty well as of late, which has been nice. Usually lures them in nicely.

A possible issue is listed here:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/822488/en-us

Just try converting the icon in PNG format and use the PNG file instead of ICO. That should solve the issue.

Hi Dear,

Its not like I dont want to work but the problem is, there is nothing to write here. I have some icons and I want them on a button for whcih i just need to set the path in the properties. I do not have code as of now. Please dont mistake me. If I get a solution or better understanding of the issue surely I shall write that here.
