C# project, C# project that covers all concepts

New D.I.C Head Joined: 22 Dec, 2008 Posts: 1	Hi, I want to learn C# and ASP.NET. So I would want to wor on a project that can cover all the concepts in C# and then later add on web page using ASP.NET.Database Iam planning to use is SQL server. Thanks in advance. Regards, GCM

Do you want to create C# program the contains all waht C# can do??!?!? And then you want to add this to webpage and use SQL?? I guess this is not a good idea to start with C# and ASP.Net.. I would like to know why. Actually, starting with C# is a good idea, because it has the power of C-type languages (C++, Java), but at the same time it has some structures similar to Visual Basic .NET. For project ideas, there is a topic listing a good set of projects you can try implementing in C#: http://www.dreamincode.net/forums/showtopic70915.htm Better try doing those programs instead of trying to pack everything C# has (which is practically impossible) in a single project. When you will learn the basics of C# (I assume you don't have too much experience with it) you can step to ASP.NET and SQL.

Thats probably one of the best ideas I just wanted to say, that if you want to start, don´t try to learn everything at the same time! Do it step by step..
