Hey Everyone,

I'm looking for a really good cross- platform bug tracking software for a project and I'm not finding too many that are easy to use and manage. Any suggestions?

Ya exactly like those. But no offense to either but I found them extremely difficult to use and set up. I'm wondering if anyone knows anything simpler.

Do you want something hosted on a server, or that runs locally?

Preferably something that either I can host or that is already hosted as it needs to be able to be accessed from multiple locations.

Thank you, that is very good. However looking through the list I found 1 cross-platform that would not be a command line application. I'm wondering if anyone has heard of any that they have worked with?

Those are all hosted on a web server. You use them like you would a web page.

We tried Mantis, gave up on it and developed our own. Just released it as a cheap (or free) web app for everyone:

http://www.BugSherpa.com

Very simple. Very effective. Check it out - might be just what you're looking for on the hosted side.

Looks to be exactly what I'm looking for... unfortunately i'm looking for something free as I'm a university student working on an open-source project so money is tight. Nice app though... That's perfect! and PS. I love the Mac OS screenshots! Great to see

Hey. Here's one, and I can REALLY recommend it. http://www.thebuggenie.com/ Nice, and easy to use. It's 100% free, and comes in several languages.
