executing exec for every 5 min interval using vb code, any one help

my program shd execute every 5 min interval , The interval is enter by user.

I try using timer, But not coming, I want to sample code for execting my exec program every 5 min interval, the interval is enter by user in text box.
Pls give some idea or sample code.

then i want to know how to write code to run the vb program between timing using 2 text box,
example:
starting time: 10.00AM and ending time 12:00pm.
using this time interval my program shd run with polling interval of every 5 min. pls give a help

Well for the timer what you need to do is set the interval to 1000 as that will be 1 second. Then you will need a button to enable that timer. In the timer you need to get it to add 1 to a variable and then if that variable = a number (the 5 mins in seconds) then it stops the timer ans executes your code.
