New D.I.C Head Joined: 24 May, 2008 Posts: 31 My Contributions	hi there, there are a lot of sites where you can calculate the worth of a domain BUT! is there a certain , specific and standardised way of calculating it? i mean a standard given by some organisation or they just calculate it using these factors like alexa,google page rank,domain age etc and is there a standard which allocates these factors specific %ages of the total worth?

To my knowledge, there are no formal methods. However, you may want to check this topic that offers some results.

When I 1st posted this, the PR was in fact working for SmartPageRank. However, about a few weeks later, everything shows PR0. so you mean they have different algorithms for different sites offering the service? i mean if i want to put that service on my site , i have to dev my own algo?
