Issues Tracking in VB.Net

New D.I.C Head Joined: 14 Jan, 2009 Posts: 1	Hi, I haven't been doing a programming for awhile now. But, I was a VB programmer before. I will be creating a tool to log issues encountered by the users of our system. It will be a web based. I'm planning to create it in VB.Net. Any resources that you could share is greatly appreciated. I'm looking for a ready program that I could start with to speed up my programming. Thank you!

As you want to develop a web application, but which will be developed using VB.NET, you will have to use ASP.NET (for extensive resources on ASP.NET visit http://www.asp.net/default.aspx?wwwaspnetrdirset=1). You can also find some ASP.NET tutorials in the ASP.NET Tutorials section on this site: http://www.dreamincode.net/forums/showforum104.htm For some information on issue tracking system you can take a look here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Issue_tracking Or here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bug_tracking_system I am really not sure if there is any source code available for a professional ASP.NET bug tracking system. Most likely you will have to develop the system from scratch.
