haha I marked as advanced as this is the first major site ive created with so many features it boggles my head..

Is'nt quite finished yet, will be importing the PHP and VB.Net support libraries soon.

Just looking for comments on general site appearance, functionality. What concepts look good etc.. all the criticism in the world couldnt put me down.. so please be open and honest, but bear in mind this is my first PHP based website XD

The skin looks sweet. It is nice and clean and has enough color and everything. One thing that is a little annoying is that the slashes (in the background) don't quite match up across the entire site, but that is only a minor thing.

Looks good. And runs fairly well from what I have seen so far.

I'm using firefox on Mac OS X 10.5 and getting some weird stuff... not sure if that's what supposed to happen... I attached the picture. Other than that I really like the skin. Very nice!

Hi again folks..

Cheers for checking out my (now old) site..

It appears that the container was bugged (my fualt there) but a temp fix was put in place..


As of now.. my site is down (you will get an SQL error b/c I used to use my forum as a means of login for users..).

I am currently developing a new site (under the same name) but a completely different style inspired byt Windows Live and to compliment the up and coming Windows 7 release.

So thanks to all who took the time to check my site and hopefully I will have my final 2.0 release up soon!

Yes, the error you are getting is quite normal..
I erased the databases used by my old site, forum included
and b/c my website used parts of the forum login and database it throws an error now that the db doesnt exist.

There currently is no site to test as im working on it offline for now..

Same on firefox so i tested it on IE and it works great.

Note: dunno why but it reminds me on Windows Live and its messenger.

Im glad the site (in its many permutations since this thread started) has been so possitive.

The site is very much a work in progress at the moment -

and yes, you are quite right, the design was based squarely (and with permission) on the windows live style.
This is however going to change withing the next week are so while I finish the final new design.

The new site will be something quite different i can assure you wink2.gif but no sneak peaks tongue.gif

One major hitch I face atm with the new design is a virtual pagination script, lightbox & database photo gallery combination.
But all in due course.

Well hey folks,

It's been a long time since i first posted this thread, and since then my site went through two templates that in the end
I just didn't like..

But a about a month ago I had an awesome idea for a site template..
I give you the future style of World Recoded .... http://www.world-recoded.co.uk/index.php

Please note that although most of the pages do infact exist already, I made a last minute change to the menu and
messed the navigation up royally.. (working on a fix atm)

So please let me know what you think.
How is the menu working for you? Any Problems?

Known Issues:

I am aware of what google's Chrome web browser does to the header and thats being looked into.
I also know that Safari does the same thing.
- I've not got an Apple or OS other than Windows to test on, so imput is highly valued.

one thing: i'm not sure that the green links color for the RSS is appropriate in color. It sort of strains your eyes.

Yeah, I see your point completely.
That RSS bit was sort of just shoved in last minute, and i might either get rid off it and have the dev news take over,
or find something else to put there.

But I'm gald you like it, perhaps it'l get liked even more when i fix the menu XD
