Just picked this up yesterday. Didn't really have time to sit down and really get into it but I really liked what I played for 20 minutes.

I like the feature that allows people on line to find you and challenge you at any time, you can also turn this feature off. I had it on and ended up playing people on line for 20 minutes until "more important" things needed my attention.

Did anyone else get this yet? If so what do you think about it?

I'm pretty excited for when I have some time to actually sit down and play it.

Street Fighter 4 is pretty sweet. However, I have some gripes from other games before it and certain mechanics that I got used to.

I got a chance to sit down and play it for a while last night.

I'm going to have to take back the comment I made about how people can find and challenge you at any time. Yea....that was cool for the 1st 5 minutes but when you are trying to beat the arcade mode or time attacks and every 2 minutes your game is interupted because someone wants to play you and then you have to start you match over....not cool

I turned that off pretty quickly.

Other then that i like it a lot so far. I need to try and unlock more characters.

I heard they put a balance system in place where Ken & Ryu aren't the superior fighters anymore.

From what I seen it looks badass, but even with a $20.00 gift card I don't think it is worth coughing up the $60.00

I don't know how balanced it is.....they are still pretty dominant.

So I rented this game the past few days and what a sham. Seth is a fricking beast even on easy setting when I stepped up to him with Ryu. I crushed Seth on Medium with Zangief.

I go online and people play with Akura or whatever his name is and they pull off this f-ing 80 hit super fatality brutal ultra hahaha I just tea bagged your sister combo and there isn't anything you can do about it.

What the hell is that, there is absolutely no balance in this game, You have to use certain fighters against other fighters. People that run to hide behind Ryu and Ken I busted out Sakura and we had some good battles, they pull out Sagat the Fagat and I get a pretty good beat down. I have yet to beat Cammy or Fei Long but Gen will usually put up a good fight.

Street Fighter IV == EPIC FAIL.

Graphics are good, but the mechanics are ass.

I literally spit out my drink while reading that. Lol

I am going to once again have to agree with you. I was all pumped for this game thought it was cool in the beginning....then i started to play one line and you can just tell that some people are button pounders and just pull off these crazy moves.

I was kicking some kids a$$ he is almost dead, hasn't been able to pull off a move the whole match, all of a sudden hits one of those "tea bag your sister" moves and destroys me.

I have since packed them game up and its been sitting on the shelf until i figure out if i want to try it agian.

I am just whoring the achievement points (as many as I can on it) then I will take it back and be done with it. I was trying to get Halo Wars but all 4 copies were out.

There is another game - not to change the subject that has been quiet and looks fun. It is called Shellshocked 2.

I am addicted to Halo wars now. I would suggest getting it.

I am working on a review of it. Game Informer and other media sources dogged the game pretty bad.

It is hilarious - if you are a true gamer you will get most of the humor. They poke fun at everything. The auto aim is pretty non-existent if it even is supposed to have one.

Matt Hazard reminds me of Duke Nukem. Will Arnett and Neil Patrick Harris do the voices and provide the comic relief.

You fight every kind of villian known to man. Wafferthins (little 8-bit wolfenstein rejects)
Zombies, Cowboys, Even some guys that use water guns (they are tougher than you think lol). Russian soldiers, security guards, construction workers, Space marines (nice take of GOW / Halo)

There is a guy you protect called Master Chef - He has the armor on and a chefs hat lol.

I beat the game on Maximum Hazard but it took about 14 hours - Most claim about 12 to 1000 out so I wasn't too far off. Some of the battles are insane.

I enjoyed it for the most part, however it is a total rental with no replay value. Great for a weekend when you are bored. This game had so much potential but dropped the ball.

Maybe a 2.5/3 out of 5 just for the comic relief.
