Hello im am wondering whether you can have a custom notify icon ballon tip icon (too long winded lol)? because i have seen it in places and I was wondering if it is possible in vb.net

Only the default set of icons can be applied as the baloon tip icon. However, if you want custom icons, you will most likely have to use WinAPI or create your own class that will draw the baloon as well as the icon. This will be a very stable but very time consuming solution, so I would recommend looking for a third-party baloon tip control to save time.
