When you reply, tell us a little about what you're current Game Programming situation so others know what you're up to.
I'm not at the level of some of you guys, but I'm getting there.
I work on my game programming in the little free time I have, I'm currently working on a 2D RPG engine, written in C++ with SDL. Also planning on learning a little OpenGL when I get the time. I've also dabbled in a little GBA stuff with no2.
Link to the engine: http://svn.gabehabe.com/download/1/Simple+Engine I haven't spent a lot of time on it, and no fancy graphics - you just walk around on a screen print of some code. But it's got some of the starter functionality.
The other game programmers that come to mind are stayscrisp and Tom, they're awesome.

I'm not in your list but I want to add my game project. Right now I'm working on an open source RPG using XNA 3.0. Trying to make it skinable. It is a 2D top down with a skill based character system. Right now working on the tile engine.
Thinking of starting a 3D project in C++/DirectX, possibly OpenGL instead of DirectX. Still fleshing out the design.
Edit: Umm specifically I am trying to write a Blender exporter for my 3D model format (CDM) and I am working on documentation and examples using my engine.

I am just starting up on my first game! It's going to be a 2D platformer written in Objective C for you guessed it... the iphone. It's an ambitious project and we have got quite the team together to tackle it here at school for our year end project next year!
I'm a vb 5/6 converted vb.net programmer building a 2d RPG with networking abilities. I like making space shooters as well, and have made many in the past. Strong C knowledge with prior MUD coding experience. Currently learning C#. I also know HTML and currently learning Ajax.
Hi, I'm in my 40's and have been programming since 1980 in the Navy, at work, and as a hobby. All my game programming has been after working hours and with my wife's blessings. I'm pretty good at basic, VB, and C++. I'm an Excel/VBA junkie and have used Excel as a "poor man's game editor".
I learned I took 1st place over at GI (gameinstitute.com) in their 11th student game challenge. It was by far my best game in terms of design, programming, art, and sound.
I've got a thread going here at DIC for a summer project.
I am a somewhat new game developer. I mainly use XNA, since most of my games are going to be on Xbox Live.Right now I am working on an old-fashioned space shooter. What makes it unique is how I am incorporating some RPG level-up systems to it.
I'm currently learning to make 2d games with XNA. I have been experimenting with both OGRE and OpenGL, but I'm leaning toward OGRE for most of my 3d development.

I am a game developer in a way, using C++ and Direct3D 9. And I've been in progress of my very first game project that is a 3D MMORPG called Museigen World Online. As of now, I've been programming its game engine called Peridot Engine, which is close to completion.

I'm fairly new to the massive world of game coding, but I'm really getting to love the stuff I've worked on!! I'm into XNA mostly, but I'm open to learning most anything. I live in Atlanta, GA and go to school at SPSU in Marietta, GA. I really like the story/ game-logic programming (as opposed to engines) of educational, serious, and simulation type games. I enjoy teaching and I feel that gaming is one of the best ways to get people interested in learning.
It's great to meet everyone!! Happy gaming!

Hi, I am a self-thaught hobby-programmer and I have now made my way to games. I do mainly program in c++ and for graphics I prefer SDL and OpenGL as they are both cross-plattform which is great as I mainly use Mac OSX
I would love to learn more game-programmin and mainly in the aspect of writing an engine as opposed to a single game. Here, I have quite a bit to learn.
Currently I am working on a simple platform game featuring mario: Mario Preview
Hey all, my name is Justin. My programming experience is high school classes, which were basic programming structures using java. At the end of the year though we all worked together on a game as a summative. Was pretty cool Anyways i'm headed off to CS in university and have just started programming games in my spare time. Right now i'm making a asteroids like game =D
