Div tag expands with text ?!?!?!?! im using dreamweaver lol(bad)

hi i am currently developing a website for course work I dont expect the full answer but as close as would be appreciated i have a div tag for body and another inside, when i try to write text in the second div container the text shuffles along the screen instead of wrapping within the container sorry if im a bit vague but im kinda new at it

you need to give your div container some height and an overflow option in the css file such as auto, to give it a scroll bar and an idea of what to do with extra text.

sorry thanks for taking the time to read my post i managed to fix the problem a while ago been a while since i was on i solved the problem using css and making the div size absolute thanks for helping
