Storing images and image details in one table?

Post icon  Posted 23 April 2009 - 01:47 PM

I am currently preparing images of horses to be stored in my MySQL database for a browser based game. I have already successfully figured out how to input using the MySQL Query Browser. But for each picture there is a brief description of breed, its height, colour, gender etc. What I need to know is would it be better to have this info in another table or store the image and its details all in one table? I am still learning MySQL so any help or advice is much appreciated. Thanks.

Not to worry, I have figured it out by using the image path and storing pictures in web folder instead.
