Hi,

I may not be able to help with c++ or stuff like that, but I like the idea of participating in a game and are well versed in VB 6.0. I would be happy to make installer, ect. free of charge. (full credit, though, of course!)

Contact me at miloburchell@gmail.com if you are interested.

Cheers :D

I'd love to help out. I can do C++, OpenGL, DirectX, Flex, Flash, Networking layers, multicore, etc. Been in the trenches a long time, so can pretty much handle anything, even MMX, SSE, SSE2 etc optimizations. Can also port to other OSs. I would suggest looking into a gaming engine like Ogre3D. I'm currently building my own engine in my spare time, but Ogre, like Irrlicht and others already can handle the Mesh hierarchy graph analysis and world building. It's writetn in C++ and is open source with a large support community. It supports DirectX shaders as wel las OpenGL shader models. Not sure if it supports OpenAL, But that is easy to implement if you don't want to use DirectSound/Audio or haever their calling it on Windows these days.

Let me know if I can help.

It could be done in C#/XNA or possibly C#/Managed DirectX. I think XNA would be the easier of the two. :)

i am intersted in in writing storylines for games. i find thinking of an interesting story is fun and is quite important in a game, a lame story line will make for a lame game
