Last Day of College (well, last day of my Bachelors)
Posted 01 May 2009 - 05:50 AM
So yeah, im sitting in the computer lab at school, on the last day of exams (I have a presentation at 2:00PM, just finalizing everything now) It's a little strange to think that I've been here four years. I've changed my major once, met a lot of teachers that I liked, met a lot more that i didnt. Lost faith in my ability to program and gained it back tenfold. All in all it was a unique experience. I'm hopefully going to be attending another university closer to home for my Masters degree in Applied Computer Science (concentration on Computer Security). What fond memories do you have from college (or what fond memories are you making now
).

Congrats on the Bachelor's degree, man!
That's a lot of work.
I still have a couple of years to go. So far I've met some teachers I really like and some I didn't. Learned a bit, but the best thing I would say is that I discovered programming, and how awesome it is! & because of that, I discovered this site, which has some really interesting members.

I discovered programming in the 11th grade of high school...Computer Literacy class (my teacher had a BS in physics and a minor in CS) we spent half the year on VB6...and it's been love/hate with other languages ever since

My grades bounce around but I am getting several times stronger in programming. There's plenty of things I am doing that I didn't even know I could have possibly done before, hehehe-!
