-i have a question... how do i get my IM label to come up in a different color? -i think my signature is good but i'd like the same effect on my DICIM label.

also, i've posted a question. do you know the answer or can you see my post?

I'm not sure what you mean when you say you want your IM label a different color, but your DICIM (or PM as it commonly called here) has the same functionality as the boards. So you can just click edit to add effects to your PM messages, and your sig should be included in it too. About your question..i'll take a look at it

I'm not sure where to find the "edit" part you're talking about. I don't see anything that says "edit" by the PM menu... *shrug* little help?

I don't think you can change the color of the PM center if thats what you wanted. Ignore what i said before there is no "edit" in the PM center

okay, look where it says who is online on the bottom left. see how some have colored names? -that's the goal i'm trying to accomplish here. i hope i'm not sounding too terribly confusing. i just see that a couple people have light blue or hot pink and i wanted to do that, too. not sure how to do it, though. -thanks for your help in any way.

Okay, well the only way to get colored names is to earn a badge. The different colors correspond to the badge someone has. This link should explain it.

meh. it's cool. not many do, it seems, especially since AS3 is *very* different from AS2. i'm sort of just hoping someone will pass by that actually knows what i'm trying to do. *shakes head*

i don't know it, so i pass little judgment. i'm just looking for answers here. i'm still a n00b.
