Hi,
I'm working on a couple blogs in blogger. How many keywords should I be putting in the keywords box under the entry? For example, one of my blogs is about creating an RPG in XNA. So I was thinking of putting keywords like:
- XNA
- role-playing game
- C#
- C Sharp
Would more than that be over kill?
Thanks

I think you should discrad the hyphen and make it two keywords.

Is Blogger putting those keywords in the keyword meta tag, or using them for internal search? If it's the meta keyword description, I honestly wouldn't worry to much about it as the meta keyword tag is almost entirely ignored these days by search engines. Focus on a GREAT title (keyword rich, but human readable), and good keyword density (again, keyword rich, but natural and human readable) within your article.

I didn't realize that keywords were mostly ignored now. I gather the labels are for internal search, don't know all that much about how search engines work. (It is something that I'm looking into though.)
So, I gather you are saying that I have to come up with better topics titles than:
It is a cold a rainy day here
More something along the lines of:
Creating a menu system with XNA 3.0

(much more specific and descriptive)
I think I can make the articles full of the keywords that I'm going to be using. For example in my RPG blog, I will use XNA, C#, RPG, role playing game, etc.
Thanks for the input.
