I think that's like the #1 sign that a person has no training and no graphic design skills.  That's the first thing I look for when critiqing someone's work, did they use 3 filters on every piece of art in the composition or does the concept rely to heavily on one effect.

baha!!! sloth and i were laughing our asses off at this stuff the other night. i'm not sure exactly how much truth is contained in The Onion, tho...

however, if the story is at leased based on true events, it's even funnier and sadder that this paperweight has a design job and i don't.
