It's a place called the Movie Tavern, it's one of those places where you can get food and alcohol while you watch your movie.

I am jobless... nobody is hiring in my area, especially if you don't have any work experience (which I don't)...

We just brought in 10 interns, and i think we have a couple more coming it next week.

What areas do you guys live in?

Alberta Canada?!?!?!?! lol

And i'm in the same boat as Beta War, all I have is school experience and school projects, so now real world experience which made it impossible to find a job anywhere around here.

Cheers

I'm really lucky b/c my Dad is hiring me this summer. He and my cousin owns an electrircal supply and fixture warehouse/wholesaler. So I get to work in the warehouse earning minimum wage. It's not glamorous work, but I have earning power which is what matters. And I'm working ~full time (40-44 hours/week)

minimum wage full time? ouch

Agreed. But I'm 16, so any money is good money. And it kind of sucks now b/c my dad says he can't afford me full time the entire summer with the way the economy is going. But he said when anyone is on vacation or if business picks up I can come back full time. He's trying for me, but it's hard. And what makes it worse is that I want to buy my first car this summer, and I'm starting to realize that it may not happen.

I must have applied to 10 different places. Not one has called back, emailed me, or anything. It's been 2 weeks. They are not going to call.
