Your poll is asking a question that cannot be answered. It's like a broken switch() statement and it doesn't lend itself to your answers. The title of the thread is "which OS You Prefer?" and if the poll was titled that as well, then it would make sense.

It really depends on what I am doing. General programming, games, art, music and the like I use Windows for (just find it to be better suited for my needs there, and not as expensive overpriced as Macs are. If I am doing specific types of programming (OS dev for instance) I use Linux, it gives you a lot more control over your environment and what exactly you are allowed to do. I tend to stay away from Mac, I just don't see the point.

Same here. Too expensive for me. I'll pay for the same functionality at less than half the price of a Mac. PC FTW!!!

At least split up Mac, Solaris and BSD from each other. They're very different from each other in many, many ways.
