does anyone know how to pick apart a string to manipulate it, like change the lowercase letters to uppercase and vice versa. Any feedback would be appreciated. thanx

string.toLowerCase();

You can also traverse the string in a for loop, converting one by one, or just the ones you need. You could also use the string.replace() method.
