Java Compiler

Hi there


i'm going to learn java so i need some help from you
i'm vb.net,c# and vc++ programmer
so i need a compile IDE for java just like vb.net
i need a java compiler
please give me a link to download it

I'd expect most people to recommend Eclipse or Netbeans. I prefer Eclipse, myself, although I usually use something more lightweight for my own projects.

i want a IDE
when i press . key one popup open with some other funtion

is this Eclipse is the thing that i want

i use XCode for my Mac, but on my PC i usually use JCreator.

In Eclipse, you can press control+space and the IDE will suggest terms to complete your statement.

Eclipse also has autocomplete and you can press . to get a list of possible functions.

Eclipse is more or less an industry standard right now because of it's overall versatility and number of useful plug ins made for it.
