i am using vb6 application; printer.print this is the statement used to send text directly to the printer
in VB.NET there is no such statement for printing directly to the printer.
can any one give the idea for printing through VB.NET with out graphics

It's a bit more complicated in VB .NET, but you have a lot more control over the process.
You have to create a class and inherit from the printing control.
PsychoCoder has a pretty good example of printing in VB.NET. It's here. on D.I.C.
