VB6 Package & Deployment Wizard

Post icon  Posted 06 June 2009 - 11:39 AM

I wish to distribute a program I have written using VB6 Package & Deployment Wizard.
I go through the wizard with no problem but when I test the package on another computer I get a report for three items stating "Access Violation"
The thre item concerned are:
expsrv.dll
odbcconf.dll
vbajet32.dll
These thre items are included in the package and already exist on the computer on which I am trying to make the installation.

Any help would be appreciated

Is there a process running that uses those dlls? If so stop it if you can and then install.

Also, check out Inno if you cannot get this sorted.

Good Luck

Could not find any programs running

Your solution of 'INNO' solves everything. Thanks
