Yup... after 2 1/2 years... I'm single. So, the girl who I've been living with for the past year and a half has moved out and back in with her mom.
This means I'm living alone and gotta buy all the fun bachelor toys I should have had years ago. So, I've got the fouton in the living room, a new 32" Sony Wega Trinitron TV. Just ordered a Pioneer home theatre receiver and Infinity surround sound speakers.

I will be having a party, small apartment so might have to spread it out over a few days of partying. But there will be something done. And it will involve a keg.

Well man, I'm sorry to hear about that, and at the same time I'm happy for you if that's what you wanted. Good luck with the pad, I wish I lived around there so we could party.

From the context of what you say, you are too young to drink, muchless grow chest hair, or even have had your balls drop for that matter.

She didn't have a job for 4 months, she spent her entire savings, she was out of money with no desire to work. She sat at home all day or hung out with her friends instead of applying for jobs.
I am of the opinion that if you decide to move out on your own, with or without a boyfriend, you must be able to support yourself and prove that you are willing to pull your weight in both a relationship, and in life.
After she decided that not having a job, and not coming home, were more important than spending the evening with the person you've been with for 2 1/2 years, I decided to call her up and inform her that I was no longer interested in continuing the relationship and I would give her the rent money back for that month.
Bottom line, we made a good couple, but she lacked a lot of attributes that I need in a partner.

Well welcome back to the world of singledom. It's not all it's cracked up to be, as I'm sure you know, although I think if I were in your shoes I would have made the same choice. I'm sure its still rough after you're used to being with someone for so long, even when you have good reasons. Atleast it was for me when my Marine and I split. I'm sure you'll bounce back fast if you haven't already.
I didn't mean to be nosey but I knew I'd never know what happened if I waited on a guy to ask... yall never care for details

Bouncing back has been... slow going. I'm either not trying hard enough or my standards are to high... not sure. I'm at a cross between wanting another relationship, and just wanting some no strings attached sex... oh well, that's the guy in me I guess
