moving to C++

Posted 08 June 2009 - 07:11 PM

Hello, Everyone. I am currently a sophomore :)
How do I make the leap from C to C++?
Do you know of any good tutorials or websites. Any of your tips would also be great. Thanks!

Hello,

I am in a similar scenario. I used C# and now next semester my data structures class is in C++. Do you know what book you will be using next semester? I have mine and it listed key concepts to study and make sure you know. That can help. I also picked up a copy of the C++ Primer. It can't hurt to have it general and feels pretty comprehensive.

Hope this helps!

Cheers, Lee

Both are good reference sites to the standard library. Other than that, you shouldn't have too much trouble. If you've never worked in an object-oriented fashion before, this may not be the case.
