I am IT student and i am just started visual basic 6.0.Iwant to use on my home pc.So from where i can download or get the Microsoft visual basic 6.0.

@papuccino1, your site is for VB.NET, not for VB6.

I think you cannot download it (freely) and you may need to buy it. There are also versions of it, but do have limitations eg. not allowed to compile

I believe I found a free version on the microsoft page.

I can't find it again for the life of me.

Why even bother vb6 is no longer supported by Microsoft?
I think learning the basics of .net would be good way begin.

and as well as .NET languages will be more advanced in the future and looked upon as the main VB. It will probably be more recognized and will help when looking for programming jobs and such.

can you do everything you could do in vb in .net like make macros and bots/ chat clients that connect to internet gamming servers or others and stuff?

Its a different syntax. Have a look in the VB.NET forum and see the differences in syntax. It'll give you a better understanding.
