Of course, just create a new instance of the form that you want to "pop up" and call .Show() on it.

I like to formate both the child form and the parent form for that.

I had set the opacity of parent form in child form but it dose not work.

Have you tried using MessageBox? What do you want to display on your PopUp window?

If it's a short message, MessageBox.Show(TextGoesHERE); is what you're looking for.

Means when ever this child form displayed the parent form must be faded.
just like we used modelpopupextender in web application in .net.

have you tried this.Opacity=50;

and if you have tried it can i see your code ?
