JavaEE Is Here

Post icon  Posted 17 June 2009 - 08:27 AM

Enterprise Java is a huge industry that takes advantage of many tools and technology above and beyond the Java SE. Many of us work within Java EE and now we have a forum focused on these topics.

Is there any Moderator around here, who can move my Topics Posted earlier in Java Forum to this New One. My Topics were always Java EE related and I didn't got any suitable responses in Java Forum.

Come on Mods you got the work to do.

We will be happy to help you debug code YOU wrote if you show us your good faith efforts (code) and specifically describe any errors you are encountering. If you can provide these, then feel free to open a new thread so we can further help you.

Hooray!!

I have just finished my first class of JAVA and really like the language.

I am interested in using it to build web pages, and have started teaching myself to use tomcat,JSP and servlets.

My original attempt is to host this on my linux ubuntu laptop, using localhost with virtualization, but so far, I am not getting it to work.

I eventually will probably be moving it to my windows box, that is hosting websites on the internet as we speak.

Has anyone made a tutorial for this? If so, I am missing it.

If not one would be greatly appreciated.

If I get it figured out before it is posted, I will post what I find!!

I just love this site.. Thanx!
