hanosh's java class

Post icon  Posted 07 May 2005 - 01:45 PM

As many of you in hanosh's 3rd block may know, this last program sucked misserably. Hanosh has been going through alot of problems recently as we all do know. This last program was a crime shame. Hanosh looked like he was on the verge of tears. We as a class need to repent for this and pick up the pace. Myself as a senior I don't have the opportunity to make up for this last program. But as a whole, this class has to make it up to him. I know very well that he has the chance to read this, but this is probably the only way I can communicate this to you all without saying it directly infront of him. I wish to start a discussion on this matter asap. We have to make sure that Hanosh ends this year with a smile.
Just think about that next time you look at him. How much has this man done for us? Guaranteed he has changed all of our lives for the better. We must find a way to repay him, to thank him.

Is This A Good Question/Topic? 0

I'ma just say up front, it's great you want to do whatever for him, but we don't normally like to see conversations that will only relate to 3 or 4 other members. If you can PM the other users in your class, I would suggest doing that. I'ma leave this open just to see what happens, but just know that we may close it if it turns in to a "Just the 3 of us" type conversation.

One thing that has always intrigued me about new kids to dic (from RRHS/Hanosh's, particularly) is their absolute belief in that these forums are their most effective, convenient form of communication between one another.
Which is rather ironic considering you all share a class together.

How many posts have there been like this?
Bah.

Heh, I guess I'm not so caught up in it seeing as I'm just now involved in one of the comp classes at the high school. I've been registered since...march 03. Wow, 2 years and a whopping 286 posts :D.

Well, quality over quantity.

Or not.

hahahahahahahahaahahahahahahaha....
this is the funniest post i have read in a while... somebody who takes hanosh seriously hahahahahaha.... shame on you kids for not doing a program properly. When you were given all the inaccurate information you could get your hands on. And if you needed help im sure hanosh would give you the
figure it out yourself butch" line or give you misleading information. gosh whats wrong with you not doing a program properly geeze.

But umm yeah you really should be posting some sort of question or something in the Java board, and pming or emailing the kids in your class.

We about half bring it on ourselves Amadeus, the members who discuss these topics are from our Alma Mater. We did a presentation a few weeks ago and told them to come to the site... so that's why it's so prevelant.

My bad...please accept my apologies....I bet that presentation was great...you ahould think about posting a transcript to DIC...or even a recording. I'm sure many would be interested.

No No, I didn't mean to rebut what you said, I was simply giving the reason. They still need to realize that the interclassroom discussions don't really belong here.

I never personally had Hanosh as a teacher, he seems like a pretty damn cool guy to me, has always been very friendly.

The presentation was geared more towards getting a job after high school than programming, didn't really have a good topic to present on due to the level of the class.

Hanosh really is a great guy. and i am also in the java class os i definitely agree with you gaming_god. we sucked and we need to show hanosh that we dont. he does do a lot for us and we need to stop slacking off and start getting on the ball(too bad its close to the end of the year tho) but we can pull it off.

Guys! I was the first one and only one for a while to turn it in, and then the other two turned it in. He is angry at you because you don't understand JAVA. And when he explained it in English, you blew that up too!
