Tax Refund for Students

Posted 24 June 2009 - 12:58 PM

Just thought I'd share this with everyone. As part of Obama's stimulus plan, students attending college at least half-time can receive up to $2500 tax rebate even if you don't owe any taxes. Here's the article where I read this.

This is making me strongly consider going to a local (non-community) college part time my senior year to take 2-3 classes.

Now they just need to come out and help people with their loans!

It's about time. I've always contended that a majority of college students shouldn't have to pay the taxes they do. I work and pay a lot of bills (but am still dependent) so I get raped by taxes.
