Hey I have Dev C++ compiler and I wanted to know if anyone had some game codes that I could plug in and play seeing as I'm kind of a noob at this.
No matter what I do reading books just doesn't get me anywhere. sometimes if I had a simple example to look over it helps me understand stuff better. I have alread used a simple version of tic tac toe and chess, they taught me a few things but I need slightly more complicated games so I can thus further understand C++ language, and please make sure they work in dev C++ because I have run into a bunch of game codes that just don't work on that compiler, or can you suggest another free compiler that may be better

Well I would suggest using Visual C++ express edition. Which is free. As for game code cant help you there. An interesting place to look is http://www.toymaker..../beginners.html

Code::Blocks is the best IDE, it's got support for a lot of stuff
