Westciv has free courses out about every week or so, each dealing with more indepth CSS use. They are currently on Week 10 (More advanced CSS positioning: introduction). The Week 12 course is set to cover The CSS Box Model and is set for May 13, 2002 to May 19, 2002. (http://www.westciv.c...u/courses/free/)
Also check out tutorials 9 & 10 from Web Reference:
There is also a great read from A List Apart that may be of some help:- A CSS REDESIGN IN FIVE EASY PAGES - Page Four: Inside The Box

ummm...it's not so much using the box model. You have to learn CSS. The box model is not a tool for position so much as a description of how CSS works. EXAMPLE: margin border padding content

Excellent point there codeman. This is why the box model is considered advanced CSS. I would hope that admiraljustin already as a good grasp on CSS, otherwise you're just going to confuse the matter.
