My dream job is being head of a software firm, writing applications that cater to the sciences. I would like to have completed education past my bachelors. I will be a never-ending student, I will never disillusion myself into believing I have learned it all (or enough).

I'm really pushing the ee manager I am paired with to hire me into what I will hope to be my dream job
programming as apart of a dev team creating applications for high tech embedded systems. I wouldn't mind owning my own company but I would want to keep it small and still be working on projects mostly instead of managing

This doesn't sound like a bad job, however I would have to focus on Mathematics, rather than Science.

It would be great to mesh programming with some other field one finds fascinating. To have your own company that does this would be even better. I personally wouldn't want to run this company until I have put in time as a developer and student. There are enough managers out there that have no idea of the software developement process.

I would like a nice, easy job from home. Working with Microsoft.

Working with... not to be confused with working for?

About a year or two ago, the concept of working 5 days a week was enough to make my skin crawl. I just wanted to chill all day and play Xbox or ride my bike. However, I grew up eventually. I would say my dream job is in the profession I'm in, software development. I worked really hard to get this far, so I must love it.

Well, I might find out about a POTENTIAL dream job in about an hour and a half. Interview for a Linux/Windows System Administrator. Simple, I know but somewhat realistic.....also, anythings better than the freaking help desk.
