VB or VB.NET File I/O

Post icon  Posted 14 June 2005 - 11:28 AM

Hello people,

I have a question about this.:

I have a program made with three buttons, exit , read and write also 1 textbox.
I want to type a line in the textbox and when i push on write , the line must be save in a file.
So when i close the program and i open it again and i push the read button, that line what's in the file must be seen again in the textbox.
Is this possible? so yes how, can anybody help me please?

Greetz Burny

I'm not sur whether you're using vb6 or vb.net. The process is the same. In the code sections of your buttons, you will access a file for either reading or writing. Here are some good examples of file input and output:

VB6 - 1
VB6 - 2

VB.NET
